Women of Today's Manufacturing: 2016 Year in Review

As 2016 is coming to a close, I want to thank all our board members, board of directors, members, sponsors, and the community for a successful year. December of 2015, Women of Today's Manufacturing accepted a challenge through the Community Foundation of Illinois to raise $1,000 through our 50/50 raffles -- we are proud to announce that thanks to all who helped, we not only met but exceeded that goal! We raised $1,443 and the Community Foundation will match the 1st $1,000. Our dinner events, plant tours, annual fundraiser, golf outing, and Rockford Chamber Manufacturing Expo all helped to impact the community by raising funds for the scholarships we award annually and networking opportunities. The proceeds from these events also will help our local FRC Robotics teams and R2OC competition. Please make sure to mark your calendar for our Member Appreciation Dinner that is complimentary at Forest Hills Country Club December 8th, 2016 at 5:30. This year we will be collecting school supplies for a local school in need! Please check back for more details!

Thank you for making WOTM a success!
